Today I’m excited to briefly share a company I’m absolutely in love with: Dotty Dungarees. There’s nothing sweeter than little boys and girls in dungarees, and they also win hands down in terms of practicality. I remember my wonderful Mother-in-law taking me to a children’s boutique when James and Harry were little, in search of some real Oshkosh ones – anyone remember those? They were very cool at the time.
Anyway, I’ve found the dungarees, and I’ll probably never again be purchasing from elsewhere. The gorgeous Alice and Georgie named Dotty Dungarees after their own children, Dolly and Otto. Since 2014 they’ve been creating pieces which are comfortable and fit for adventuring, in sizes 3 months to 5 years. Believe me when I say that the quality of these is top notch, and even my wild ones will have a hard time destroying them.
I love how the colours are muted and versatile; those navy ones will be handed straight to Marigold when Frank is finished with them. I know both babies will get loads of wear out of them since the shoulder straps are adjustable and I have the legs rolled up right now. They’re lined with a soft polka dot print too, which is perhaps my favourite part.
How sweet do my babes look in theirs’, paired with hand-me-down saltwater sandals? Frank is wearing the Otto stripe, and Marigold the Pink stripe. Head over to the Dotty Dungarees shop to have a good browse; I’ve got my eye on the shorts and dresses too.
Thank you so much Alice & Georgie. These pieces will be treasured for years to come.
And to anyone reading, thanks for sticking by me through these seemingly impossible times. I will get myself back one day but for now, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
