Just a quick post from us, to tell you about a creative mama we’ve been loving recently.
Sarah is Mum to Ilida (7), Ifigenia (4) and Leonidas (1). She runs Blue Dandelion Ceramics from her home in Chepstow, a little town which holds a special place in our hearts (we lived there for ten years!). Losing her job forced her to think outside of the box a bit, which lead to combining a love of doodling and getting messy with designing gorgeous ceramics. Way to make the best of a less-than-ideal situation, hey. Again, we marvel at anyone who is running a household, raising little babes and making awesome things in the process.
Anyway, Sarah kindly made us a few bits, and we are in love with them.
My ‘Ness’ mug felt too gorgeous to drink from just yet, so it’s serving as a pen pot on my new desk for now. Excited to enjoy my morning tea from this one though; its narrow rim is made specifically to keep your drink warmer for longer (win). The wide bases also make them harder to spill. Yep, Sarah definitely has your back with her attention to design. Plus, the garland pictured above could not have been more special, with each of my babies’ names printed on a heart. What a cool gift for your mama friends? Each piece is intricate and made with so much love.
You can follow Sarah on instagram and facebook to check out more of her work, or head straight to her online shop. She loves making commissions and will create something that truly reflects your child’s (or your own) personality. Check out these egg cups she made for our cousins:
Wishing you a fab weekend, especially if tomorrow marks the final day of your half term. Back to routine next week, which for us puts an end to sleepy mornings, brunch rather than breakfast, barefoot days and late evening tree climbing. For now!
